v for vendetta! watched that today wif robin. set in futuristic britain, the show really displayed a totalitarian nation controlled by it's government. very fascist, very hitler. the many "england prevails!" just exaggerates that. none of the military violence though. but it's as if the citizens have no privacy at all la. there's one part in the show where this surveillance van travels down an alley and it can capture voices from the houses. but the main character is this masked guy known as V. yep just V. and he's a terrorist bent on a revolution overthrowing the british government. the mask seemed a little freaky to me at the start, not least as it reminded me of my childhood fear of clowns. sounds silly but i used to be kinda afraid of clown masks ever since i watched this show called "It". anyways i cant wait to get my hands on the v for vendetta graphic novel! saw it at books kino just now. the price is a pinch though.
v for victor! heez just being a little narcissistic here.
