i was so so convicted by today's sermon n shirley's central clm!
in her sermon,shirley used the analogy of an ipod video to show that it has many functions,but wad if we use it merely as a paperweight or a coaster? in the same way,god gave each of us tons of potential, but wad's the point if we use only a fraction of it? i was really struck by that analogy. another thing that hit me is that god can do superabundantly much more than we can ever dare to think,dream,imagine,desire! why live a life of routine when we can be used to the fullest by god? (: SUPERabundantly. that's my word of the moment.
in central clm (today's was my first one, by the way), i finally realised the importance of a vision. there's a main reason why my spiritual life did not grow greatly in the first year. simple. i didnt hav a vision. today i set one for myself and the group: outreach and see 12 people in the cj group by end march. let's claim that by faith! come on central B jc group, the magic number is 56! FIVE-SIX. yepyep. 1corinthians 9:24. run in such a way as to get the prize!
