twisted again.
have been feeling really down. ever since i left macritchie jus now. was really disappointed wif myself la.
today was cj xcountry. guy's route 5.2km. i was running fine until i came to this downhill slope, quite a rocky one. suddenly twisted my right ankle n tripped. yea freaking painful la. luckily a few guys tt were behind me stopped n helped me up.. really grateful to them. yea though the next few steps were damn hard to walk, i jus tried n after tt continued running lor. when turning into the small rd from the xpressway (the last 500m), i was still able to go abit faster, then for the last slope down i did large striding lor. but couldnt afford to twist my ankle again in this slope. can still rem prashan n angie shouting at me to overtake the guy in front. =)
ok la completed the whole route, but unranked n i was really disappointed tt i didnt give in my best. but i'm still proud of myself for running despite my twisted ankle.. yea thanks to all those who expressed concern n consoled me after the race! =) anyway if i can rem correctly, here r the positions of some of my frens jus now: j1 guys. junjie-1st, benedict-3nd, deen-8th, nigel-15th. j1 girls. angie-1st, faye-2nd. j2 guys. prashan-1st, ganeshan-2nd, se wei-10th, matt chua-11th, yi yong-13th, jiahao-26th, sajeev-36th, matt yong-45th, mel-49th, krishnan-ard 60th. j2 girls. limin-11th, janice-17th, jean-19th. sam-20+. oh yar n mr lim got 2nd for teacher's race. he couldnt beat the angmoh teacher. lol. yea tt's for those tt i can recall la.
wah sian. now having this ankle injury.. hope tt i can recover for fri's track trng. n to tink tt matt prayed for me bfore the race: "...allow us to be free from injuries..." bleah.
during dinner i told my parents abt the injury n my dad scolded me for injuring myself.. said it's not gd to twist my ankle and kana sports injuries all the time. pls la. like as if i wanna twist n fall down n hav to bear with the pain for a wk. =/
oh yar jessica crashed cj today. saw her ard in sch n at macritchie. hope she can get in after 1st 3mths. kinda nice to hav ur cousin in the same sch.
