emotions
had flag day in town today. woke up early jus to get down to orchard mrt on time. but only 8 ppl from our class went for it. me maz sj weiting guoren whitney grace alina. haha machiam grp outing. our designated area was outside ps, near the bus stop area, where all those food voucher/coupon-selling/donation seekers always hang out. the best way not to get victimised by these ppl is not to walk thru this area at all.
went for bkfast at long john's, where we xchanged for lots of coins to put into our own cans. lol. then we went into ps to slack for awhile. later on we did do abit of proper flagging la. it so happened there was this car promotion mini-exhibition outside ps. dunno wad car brand. then while we were flagging there, this lady from inside came n told us not to do flag day ard there. she even pointed to 2 signs which read,"no touting in this area". wth la. ppl wanna do charity yet she wun allow. more like she was touting us la.
after the girls left, the 5 of us guys sat ard in the ps macs to slack ard. we were playing wif the flag day stickers, n didnt reli order anything, xcept for sj's drink. then this macs auntie came to us n said, "do u mind giving up ur seats? cos we have to make way for other customers." wth la. then 4 sec sch girls who were waiting at the entrance came in n took our table. in short, today was a guailan day.
service was great. it more than made up for the guailan-ness we went thru in the morning. today was the 2nd part of our 'emotions' service. we came late today. again. as sj said, we really gotta do smth abt it. either everyone jus meet up earlier, or we dun eat at mos, where the waiting time is sometimes longer than the eating time. yup. at nexus, the whole auditorium was packed. the music n drum beats were damn cool la. the band that did all that was from poly grp, if i'm not wrong. after sermon we also saw a great harvest! praise god! =) there were so many ppl who received christ that there was no space at the front! let's hope that the church can grow from glory to glory! =)
