bleah. today was really tiring la. but learnt some new stuff.
coach was crazy, as he always is! came to training n said this is the last training of the yr, n must give 2004 a farewell by having a tough workout. he then started talking abt life n culture stuff.. i rem him saying smth like: "it's more successful to get all Bs in our subjects n do well in athletics, than to get 10 As." sure, of cos it makes sense la. but then it was kinda amusing to see him preach all that n laugh to himself, while none of the cj n crescent trackers smiled at all.. hah. reminds me of brian n his 'funny' jokes and no one laughs. =)
early in the morning, kana hit wif a surprise 2.4km time trial. my hamstring was still abit sore even before we started, but i carried on wif it anyway. did VERY badly la. i shall not exhibit my terrible timing here. after that was a 600m run at 95% pace.. lactic caught up, but i did a 1min 57 which i tink is not too bad, but must definitely be improved. last part was the 6x120m tempo striding.. kinda enjoyed it haha.
went for lunch wif se wei, jiahao, the rj clarence n the crescent denise at adam rd. i only had longan juice but the mutton soup that se wei had looked really good! i cant resist food la. =p
met up wif matthew for shepherding at bugis. jiahao n clarence came along too, but they were there jus to play LAN. n we saw jiehui there! he looks really different in his army hairstyle. haha. yup, learnt lots of stuff from matt today. he taught me abit on how to evangelise n explain christianity to a new believer. i really wanna pray that i can apply these into my life successfully. he also challenged me to get a sheep by end of Jan n become a CL by his bday which is 13th aug. the 2nd one sounds kinda far-fetched.. but gotta have faith! =)
matt told me 2 pieces of bad news that may or may not happen in the future.. both have gotta do wif him, but i was quite saddened by them la. really dun want them to happen to my beloved shepherd, but he still seemed joyful cos he noes that it's all God's plan. i noe it too, and i was really encouraged by his outlook on it. i really got lots to learn from him n his faith in God.
matt came over to my place too. tuned my guitar for me n taught me some new chords n the worship rhythm. down down up up downdown. i'm deeply in love wif the song "deeply in love".
